This policy explains how Gurukul AI, a Prominaant initiative led by Suman Kalyan Hazra, handles information submitted through its pre-launch registration website.
Who this site is for
This form is for parents or legal guardians aged 18 or over registering interest for a student from KG to Class 12. Children should not submit their own personal information.
Information we collect
We collect the student’s first name, class, board, required subjects and preferred language; the parent or guardian’s name, Indian mobile number, optional email address and city; campaign source, UTM campaign fields, registration time, registration ID and consent record. We also maintain lead statuses and internal notes for registration management. Privacy requests collect the registered mobile number and request details.
Why we use your information
We use these details to record interest, plan pilot batches, assess availability, contact the parent or guardian about this registration and manage privacy requests. Registration does not authorise unrelated marketing, paid enrolment or automatic charges.
Analytics and optional cookies
With an adult visitor’s optional consent, configured Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel services may receive generic page-view and interaction events, including form start, successful submission, Lead, CompleteRegistration, WhatsAppClick and ShareClick. We do not attach names, mobile numbers, email addresses, student details or registration IDs as plain-text event parameters. Analytics services may process technical information such as IP addresses, device information and their own identifiers under their respective policies. You may decline optional analytics without affecting registration. Your choice lasts for this browser tab session. Close the tab to reset the choice; existing provider cookies can be removed through browser settings.
Storage and access
Registration records are held in the site’s server-side database. Authorised administrators can access and export records for registration management. Infrastructure providers process data to operate the site and may use servers outside India. Admin access is protected; exported files must be handled securely by the team. No system can guarantee absolute security. We do not sell registration data.
Retention
We retain pre-launch registration data while managing the pilot and related invitations. Our intended retention period is no longer than 12 months from registration unless you join the service under updated terms or a legitimate recordkeeping need requires a different period. The team reviews retention and removes records; contact us sooner using the request form below. Security rate-limit records contain a hashed network identifier and an expiry time.
Your choices and requests
You can request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent below. The team will verify that you are the relevant parent or guardian before changing or disclosing records. Withdrawal may mean we can no longer process the registration or contact you about access. Please do not send student identity documents, payment details or sensitive records through this form.
Third-party sharing tools
The WhatsApp share button opens WhatsApp with a generic site link; it does not include your registration details. Your use of WhatsApp is governed by its own policies. Social sharing is optional.
Updates
If the learning platform launches with additional features or data collection, updated information and any additional consent needed will be provided before participation. Material changes to this policy will be described here.
